Created in 2009 in Kranidi by the family of Cosmas Bayraktaris, who counts four generations of tradition in apiculture. The museum is built according to the architecture of the old houses of Kranidi, with stone and reeds on the roof. All the items have been preserved by the owner, and he has curated the creation of glass hives, which allow the visitor to observe the magical world of the bee. Here you will see old-style hives, old beekeeping tools and you will earn how honey was extracted 2,500 years ago. Don’t neglect to visit the cellar, three metres below the ground, where the unique honey vinegar (vinegar made exclusively from honey) is produced in oak barrels.
