In the Kranidi area there are 2,000-year-old century-old olive trees, referred to by the historian Pausanias, while the place has a long history of   producing   of olive oil of excellent quality   The Olive Oil Museum was inspired and created by Kosmas Bairaktaris, with the aim of letting people get to know the process of olive oil extraction from the past to the present day and to see old tools and production machinery up close. The museum “imitates” an old mill, and in its premises you will see three oil mills from the years 1400, 1700 and 1900.
