In the location of Pikrodafni, between Kranidi and Ermioni you will find oldest surviving one apse cross-vaulted church of Argolis , dating back to the year 1245. Inside the church there is a surviving inscription, which reveals that the church was ‘built from the ground up’ at the expense of the family of the lord Manuel Mourmaras. In the interior decoration of the church, valuable remains of 13th century paintings have been preserved, in which the iconographic cycle of the Byzantine tradition can be discerned.
