At the head of the southern Gulf of Ermionida (Argolis), “Porto-Kapari”, about one kilometer from the beach, is the Monastery of Agioi Anargyroi. In a verdant environment, the Monastery of Agioi Anargyroi is located about 3 km from the town of Ermioni, and between the settlements of Argolis, Kranidi and Petrothalassa. The breeze of the sea, the charm of nature and the supernatural serenity of the monastery create ecstasy, where you gaze a staircase, from earth to heaven and then you feel your smallness in front of the grandeur of the humility of the monastery.

Here the vanity of selfishness and the greed of alienated man are disarmed. Here historically, Asclepius (according to a local tradition), healed people with the healing waters of the spring and on the foundations of its sanctuary the Saint Anargyroi have continued since the 11th century to heal people not only from physical illness (which is also achieved most of the time and miracles are proclaimed everywhere) but with a sense of our puniness, in a repentance and in an effort   to re-establish ourselves before God.

It is quite impossible to sum up in few lines the wonderful beauties of the monastery: its complex architecture! Its magnificent frescoes, the work of the Cretan school and perhaps the direct student Theophanes the Cretan! Its magnificent relics, works of high art and donations from the Public Figures who lived or passed through the Monastery! Its rich library of about 2000 rare theological, literary, legal and historical volumes! The exhibits of a bygone era with the mills, the looms, the hedonic treadmill Its vast and enviable gardens! Its thermal springs! And above all its peace and quiet and its spiritual life! For all this one should go to the trouble of visiting  the monastery and ask the St. Anargyroi to heal their soul and body.

On July 1, November 1, and on the 14th of the same month, the monastery of Saints Anargyroi holds great fairs in honour of the Saints.
